Precise, Functional, Data-Driven Testing

For Recovery, Performance & Injury Prevention

At Longevity Physical Therapy, we take a movement-first, data-driven approach to healing and optimizing performance.

Our new Strength Diagnostic Profile service uses elite-level force plates and muscle testing technology to provide precise, actionable insights that go far beyond what standard physical therapy evaluations can offer.

Whether you're recovering from surgery, returning to sport, aiming to optimize strength, or looking to stay active later in life—our individualized testing and programming will help you move better, train smarter, and extend your athletic span.

What Is Strength Diagnostic Profiling?

Our Strength Diagnostic Profile combines two gold-standard tools used by professional and collegiate sports organizations:

ForceDecks@2x-1

VALD ForceDecks

For movement-based functional testing (jumps, squats, landings)

DynaMo@2x-1

VALD DynaMo

For isolated strength and range-of-motion assessments (grip, shoulders, hips, knees, etc.)

We use these tools to evaluate your strength, symmetry, balance, coordination, rate of force development, and fatigue response. But we don’t just collect data—we use it to build a customized mobility and strength program tailored to your goals.

How It Works

proms-icon

1. Initial Interview & Goal Setting

We begin by understanding your medical history, athletic or rehab goals, and any current symptoms or concerns.

2. Movement & Strength Testing

You’ll complete a 30-minute session that includes:

  • Jump and squat assessments (concentric power, landing control, asymmetry)
  • Grip and isolated limb strength (quad, hamstring, hip abduction, shoulder rotation, etc.)
  • Balance and single-leg stance testing
  • Fatigue and force production testing when applicable

3. Results Review & Interpretation

Immediately after testing, your clinician will walk you through a 30-minute results consultation with visuals and a clear explanation of how your body is performing.

4. Action Plan & Ongoing Monitoring

Based on your test results and goals, we’ll design a customized mobility and strength program that directly targets the specific limitations revealed through testing. Whether you're aiming for post-op symmetry, improved performance, or reduced fall risk, your plan will be tailored to accelerate progress toward your personal goals.

Who Is This For?

Older Adults (Fall Risk & Lifelong Activity)

Improve balance, maintain independence, and stay active into later decades with targeted data and action plans.

Why Movement-Based Testing Matters

Most strength testing only captures isolated numbers. Our system adds context by assessing how your strength performs during functional movement. That means we can answer:

  • Can your left leg absorb impact like your right?
  • Is your knee truly rehabbed—or are you just compensating?
  • Are you generating enough hip power to protect your back?
  • How does your fatigue profile compare to others in your sport or age group?

What makes our approach unique is that we don’t just gather data—we act on it. Your results power a customized strength and mobility program that addresses exactly what your body needs.

No cookie-cutter programs. Just smart, individualized action.
