I feel very fortunate to be a part of the team at Longevity Physical Therapy, and have the opportunity to work with people in the San Diego area. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from California State University Long Beach, and had wanted to move to San Diego since I graduated. I then began school at San Diego State, where I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
My interest in physical therapy began after I injured my knee in high school, limiting my ability to play sports and participate in other activities. After the injury, I started physical therapy, and found it amazing that this type of injury could be treated without a surgery. With this experience, I instantly fell in love with the profession and knew that it was the career that I wanted to pursue. Sine then, I have been lucky enough to work under multiple instructors and mentors that have helped improve the way that I treat and interact with all patients. I also became very interested in fitness and wellness, so I became a certified personal trainer and have worked with multiple clients and group fitness/wellness classes. These experiences have all made me into who I am today, and have taught me how to treat patients to the best of my ability.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, camping, hiking, skiing and getting down to the beach.
Looking very forward to working with you!
