After graduating from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Integrative Biology, I moved to Fresno to work as a high school tennis coach. During that time, I decided that my skills as a coach would be suited for a career in physical therapy. I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine of Health Sciences, decided to stay in San Diego and have been working as an outpatient Physical Therapist at Longevity Physical Therapy.
As an outdoor enthusiast, I fully understand having the ability to do the activities you love and enjoy. Each session with me is tailored to each patient’s specific interests and goals, while providing education and skills that can be maintained long after physical therapy has ended. My practice utilizes functional techniques and I earned my Certification in Applied Functional Science (CAFS) from the Gray Institute, in addition to experience with sport specific rehab and injury screening. Realizing that there is a need for women’s health services, I received the PCES – Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist certification to help with pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence and various other dysfunctions that affect women’s health. I believe in the power of positivity and how commitment from both PT and patient are necessary for optimizing movement for the enjoyment of everyday life. When not in the clinic, you’ll find me surfing, playing tennis or beach volleyball, and camping.
