Tanner received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Columbia University. He is passionate about the benefits of physical therapy; providing the best treatment plan for his patients by actively listening to their goals. Tanner insists that the patient plays a more vital role in his/her own recovery than the physical therapist. He guides each patient individually and doesn’t generalize based on injury. Tanner strives to stay current on the latest physical therapy studies and evidence, utilizing new techniques with an understanding that all patients are unique and respond differently to treatment. Patient education is crucial to him; therefore, patients are empowered to take an important role in their rehab and recovery. Outside of work, Tanner runs, cycles, and plays golf. He also enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors, and traveling with his wife.
